Judith MacLachlan came to live on Skye in the sixties and now has a workshop/gallery on the shores of Loch Bay where she exhibits her own work and that of other contemporary artists working in Scotland.
Her work includes painting and printmaking in various mediums including stone lithography and screenprinting. She has also produced a number of artist's book and other works in various media.

Recent developments include a collaboration with sculptor Kyra Clegg using plaster as a medium for small sculptural works.
